Jackson Partners With Cameron Steele’s Rip To Cabo

Jackson Marketing, Motorsports & Events recently partnered with motorsports legend Cameron Steele and the Desert Assassins to provide event support to the 2016 Monster Energy Rip to Cabo.

Rip to Cabo 2016Steele produces and hosts Rip to Cabo, during which the Desert Assassins lead a group of more than 40 motocross dirt bike riders on an adventuresome trek from Ensenada to the southern tip of Baja, Mexico. Motocross enthusiasts, as well as those who simply enjoy majestic vistas, can join the Rip to Cabo dirt bike adventure as the Desert Assassins ride the length of the Baja peninsula on ABC’s World of X Games to air on Saturday, July 16, at 12:30 p.m. MT, 1:30 p.m. PST, 1:30 p.m. CT and 2:30 p.m. EST.

The 11th annual ride to Cabo San Lucas offers vistas that only the most committed dirt bikers will ever see in person. Produced in cooperation with the Mexican states of Baja and Baja Sur, riders and their chase and support crews along with Tempt Media visit the most amazing people and places the planet has to offer while riding the toughest and most remote trails in Baja. And for the first time ever, Rip to Cabo 2016TV viewers will be able to share in the mystery of Ward Falls, a 300-foot waterfall too remote for all but the most confident and prepared riders.

A dominant figure in the world of motorsports, Cameron Steele has 25 major class wins including the Baja 1000 and has twice been named the SCORE International Off-Road Racing Person of the Year. Perhaps more widely known as a television commentator, Steele has worked on programming from the Indy 500 and the X-Games to the Running of the Bulls and the Super Bowl for numerous networks including ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX and ESPN. He began developing his own action sports television programming in 2003 with the Moto Survival Tour. The Trail of Missions is Steele’s most recent made-for-television Baja excursion. Since 2014, Steele has invited roughly 15 families to follow his lead in highly capable off-road trucks, as he winds his way down the Baja Peninsula stopping at each of the famous Spanish Missions built centuries earlier. The 2016 Trail of Missions will also air later this year on ABC Sports and ESPN.
