JD Motorsports, a subsidiary of Jackson-Dawson Marketing Solutions, South Carolina's second largest marketing communications agency, has opened a Charlotte office, it was announced today. The new office, which is located just north of Charlotte in Mooresville, N.C., is in the same motorsports complex that houses Red Bull Racing and Roush/Fenway Racing.

Jackson-Dawson Marketing Solutions has been chosen as the official marketing partner of Freedom Weekend Aloft, an annual festival that promotes affordable family fun, hot-air ballooning, patriotism and tourism in the Upstate area, while raising money for local and regional charities. Jackson-Dawson will provide marketing, collateral and promotional materials, television and radio advertisements.

For the second straight year, Jackson-Dawson Marketing Solutions is the official marketing partner of Artisphere, the International Arts Festival of Greenville. Jackson-Dawson will provide in-kind marketing, collateral, promotions, website and public relations assistance. Jackson-Dawson plays an active and leading role in Greenville's art community and has several art clients including South Carolina Children's Theatre, Metropolitan Arts Council and Bob Jones University's Museum and Gallery.

Jackson-Dawson Marketing Solutions took home Best of Show honors at the South Carolina Public Relations Society of America's (SCPRSA) annual Mercury Awards ceremony Thursday night at the Charleston Aquarium. The Greenville-based agency won Best of Show in the Silver Wing category for its feature story on BMW Manufacturing Co. becoming the world's first green automotive paint shop.

Jackson-Dawson Marketing Solutions has been selected by Volvo Construction Equipment North America and Mack Truck to implement its "After Hours" event at the 2008 CONEXPO-CON/AGG trade show in Las Vegas, Nev.
