World Press Members Experience Redesigned BMW X5
Members of the international automotive press from various media gathered to witness and learn about the newly redesigned BMW X5. There were multiple waves of journalists over two weeks, learning and reporting about all aspects of the new design.
Air-conditioned tents fitted with teak flooring, leather and glass motif furnishings housed a working Media Center, Technology Exposition, and a de-briefing area with continuous refreshments. A ride-and-drive commenced from the BMW production plant, running through the foothills of South Carolina and nearby mountains of North Carolina.
