In 2007 a renewed emphasis was placed on branding and promoting Donaldson Center as a place to do business, especially in the aviation sector.
During late 2008, SCTAC leadership expressed a need to research the
complete economic impact of the business park and airport. The state
had previously completed an economic impact study of just the airport.
SCTAC asked JMG to develop a new study that would cover the business
park and could be combined with the airport study results for a
comprehensive perspective of SCTAC’s impact on the state’s economy.

When a large business development decided to rebrand itself, JMG created and executed a major press event, including messaging, talking points, speeches, media contacts, event logistics, backdrops and media follow-up.
The airport at the South Carolina Technology and Aviation Center is one of only a few in the country designated as an emergency runway by NASA for the Space Shuttle program. We thought that would be an interesting tidbit to share with prospects looking for a place to move their business. And one that sets us way apart from the competition.

This just goes to show that, much like a chainsaw, Photoshop is a time-saving,
useful tool in the right hands and a hideous, bloody massacre in the wrong ones.
I have seen and heard many people try to sell sponsorship for
motorsports teams, drivers and series over the years. Some methods
I would call a science, and others I would call a shot in the dark, but
I don't know that anyone would argue that there aren't a myriad of ways
to go about it.
The goal was to get a birds eye view of 125 people forming a giant red cross with red cards. The problem was, there wasn't any way to get 125 people onto a giant white cyc with the camera high enough in the air.
